A Voice for Communities

Community Matters' policy and research department works to represent the interests of our members and other community and voluntary groups to government, parliament, business and the wider sector.  We do this through lobbying, events, publications and a research programme that offers unique insight into the smaller and more informal end of community activism. Through this part of the website you can find out about the latest campaigns and external affairs work, and access our policy library.

The Community Sector Law Monitoring Group (CSMLG) is a group of voluntary and community networks who represent the interests of the sector in legal and regulatory matters.  We are members of the CSLMG and provide the secretariat.
