Green Connect South West - free networking event

Green Connect is an opportunity for community groups, friends of park groups and parish councils to come together to share learning and experiences surrounding parks and green spaces.

Organised by parks charity GreenSpace South West with partners Natural England this free event will feature a selection of talks and workshops looking at how groups can become more successful, find funding opportunities and understand the opportunities for the future particularly around the Big Society and Localism agendas.

Attend to:

• Meet others who are getting involved in their local park or green space
• Find out what the new rights and opportunities are in the Big Society and Localism agendas for communities
• Get some ideas on how to make your group even more effective and successful
• Find out about some of the money and support that is available
