Following on from the August 2011 riots, Leap Confronting Conflict set up a Resilience Consortium comprising 29 voluntary sector organisations and held a youth engagement event to create dialogue and understanding what led to the unrest, and identify a sustainable cross-sector programme as a result of this analysis. Tom Currie, Head of Programme Quality & Development, will share with us key findings and the Resilience Consortium’s plans going forward. Just for Kids Law provides practical and emotional support, advice and legal representation to young people who find themselves caught in the criminal justice system. Shauneen Lambe, Director of Just for Kids Law will look at why we as a society must create an environment that supports and nurtures young people, and what role early intervention can play within this.
NCVYS is running this seminar. There is no cost to join this session.
