Fifteen organisations receive backing from Innovation in Giving Fund
The Cabinet Office and NESTA have announced the first fifteen groups to be funded from the £10million Innovation in Giving Fund which is aimed at backing innovative ideas for increasing volunteering and charitable giving.
Organisations to be funded include Peoplefund.it, a crowd-funding platform enabling people with business ideas to raise funding and public support and Timebaking UK, an open source, free to use platform to reduce the barriers to entry for setting up, joining and managing local timebanks.
