Millennium Volunteers in Communities
Working with our partners British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, Community Action Network and Community Voluntary Service to provide rewarding volunteer opportunities that both benefit the local communities and the volunteers. |
 |
The community organisations running MV projects have
- developed and encouraged young people’s involvement in their community organisation
- built useful links and working relationships with other local groups
- gained benefits for their community
- raised their profile by getting involved in a national government initiative
- increased their resources
- gained new skills and enhanced existing ones
