Our incorporation service is aimed at community associations and similar organisations that want the benefits of limited company status.
Most community associations are unincorporated organisations that have adopted Community Matters model constitution as their governing document. They are usually registered charities. For most community associations this is the ideal legal structure, being both simple and cheap.
Some associations decide to go a step further and register as a charitable company for one or more of the following reasons, it:
• is suggested by a grant aiding body
• limits the personal liability of committee members
• gives a better chance of securing service contracts
• allows the association to hold property in its own name
The incorporation package is for those community organisations considering incorporation. The package includes:
• two face to face consultancy meetings
• use of model Memorandum and Articles
• all negotiations with Companies House
• full cost of registration
• telephone hotline for urgent enquiries
• attendance to resolutions for first Board Meeting
• help with all paperwork
•registration as a charity
The complete package costs £1,750 + VAT, plus disbursements.
